B - A large pear shape weighing 3.97ct - origin is Madagascar, which has some incredibly deeply colored
Aquamarines, including a cushion shape that we have in inventory that is so deep blue, most don't recognize it
as Aqua and might be one of the most saturated blues seen in the trade (and without grey as a modifier!) Photo doesn't do this gem justice -

Most people probably haven't heard of Sphene before, but it comes in various colors, such as yellow, orange, brown and green.
It is known for being highly dispersive, even higher than diamond; so you will see Fire coming off of most of them. So much at times that you can't miss it
in some colors/cuts. Chrome Sphene is rare as it contains Chromium and is a deeper richer green than the non-Chromium
containing Green Sphenes. It frequetnly has inclusions, especially if the gems are on the larger side. The price for larger
Sphenes can disappoint many as the larger pieces, with dispersion, that dazzle the eyes are higher in price per carat than
smaller ones. It is a softer gemstone and the recommendation would be to wear it in a pendant. This 2.10ct is real beauty and in both photos here,
you can see various colors coming off some of the facets - that is the Fire/Dispersion! (ik-24-03) SOLD!
8.41ct Crystal Clear Quartz with Very Large Golden Rutile Needles!(Brasilian) From a specific find back in the
1980s - we were told that Cartiers in London were extending the internal Rutile Needles with Gold and terminating them
with precious gems at the time. Wonderful for a collection or to set into a pendant, pin or even a ring.

5.86ct Color Shifting YAG (Yytrium Aluminum Garnet, Lab Grown, Synthetic) from Russia - said to be grown
40 to 50 years ago. We saw this material in the rough and had to have it! Russia was known for growing unique
crystals and attempting to do various research to create new products for various applications, many were defense
and space related. Some of these crystal experiments were some times very few batches of a particular run and
were never produced again. This could be one of those cases. What the original intent, desired outcome and
final application, this is lost to history and currently unknown. This material goes from sort of a smoky orange
to a golden green or khaki green color. Measures 9 mm square and is well faceted by our Cutters from the rough.

This is the largest piece of only 5 pieces of larger material we hand-picked from a large parcel when traveling
internationally on a gem buying expedition in 2015. Since it has been years, pricing in trade shows has been

Rough originated in Mexico, which is known for the clear/white variety. Crystal clear, clean as a whistle.
A Real Brilliant Sparkler - the colors seen in the photo and video are Dispersion/Fire, a physical property of
Danburite that is splitting the white light into its colored components. A large gemstone for this species.

In keeping with All That Glitters' Unique and Rare Gems, here is another colored version of Zoisite - a
Green Zoisite; some call this Green Tanzanite or simply Fancy Tanzanite, as it is the same
mineral as Tanzanite, but can be found in various colors. This interesting freeform weighs 4.27cts and one can almost
expect that a larger piece of rough may be faceted in such a way to utilize this rare material. Faceted in the U.S. by a

4.76ct Very Saturated Blue Aquamarine from Madagascar. Incredibly Deep Color and expected to be Unheated!
In the trade, a darker color of Aqua may be called Santa Maria Afrique, with the original Santa Maria
color being found in Brasil; those found in Africa have the Afrique nomenclature to distinguish origin.
Very lively, brilliant, nice polish - just an incredible gemstone. There is an inclusion running the best
way in the gem which when looking down through the table, cannot be seen with a 10x loupe; from the side, if it
is tipped, one can find it. Shouldn't be an issue setting or wearing this gemstone.
Most retail/trade people would not guess
this is Aquamarine and would most likely think it Blue Zircon or Blue Topaz. Small 1-2ct pieces of a nice deep
aqua color like this were selling at $1000/ct wholesale at Tucson this year (2020). So a larger one is even less
common and would sell for more per carat. Add more $$$ to the price above and one can have an idea of an expected wholesale price and what this might sell for in a retail setting -
expect up to about a 300% markup. This is one of those gemstones, like a nice fine Alexandrite or Padparadscha Sapphire, that most appraisers
or those in the business would be hard pressed to come up with an actual hard value for..
Since this is a VERY special Aquamarine in size/saturation/shape/brilliance, we took the liberty of obtaining a
cert. From a few pieces of rough material we have seen in 44 years in the business, this is also unique
in that this should be an unheated Aquamarine - most Aqua is heated to drive the yellow component off leaving a more pure blue.

Clear Quartz with what is believed to be a Star Actinolite. This was occasionally seen on the market
in about 2009 and quickly disappeared as this wasn't a large deposit. Found a parcel and we choose the
two nicest for clarity, nice stars/sprays of the Actinolite. The smaller piece has sold, but this larger aesthetically pleasing
piece is available - and we do not anticipate finding any more of this material and therefore, this will be the last piece

Large faceted Color Change Russian YAG (material is about 50 years old)and has a very unique color change from
essentially clear to pink. Some might describe it as silver, grey, pewter or lilac depending on the lights,
but many would just indicate clear. The pink is a darker version of 'pink ice', a color that many are familiar with.
One larger piece exists and was featured in Gem-A Magazine (trade magazine - UK) where it
amazed those UK gemologists who saw the piece in person. An under 5 carat faceted round also is available and one
